With Alex we tried to create a sad impersonal mood, to make the main_character become every one of us. Life is a sad  journey where you can reach happiness, but it is suddenly too late to hold it for ever, only the present exists. I tried to create that  sad, circular feeling by creating a very low key image with a color-paletette that would develope from bluish to coral and come back to blue.

The camerawork I think was quite special, always keeping the distance to the character, but never too far.  We tried to be almost impersonal, mostly with the 50mm lens. It was my first shoot in 35mm and it was very exciting for me. We had to think how the shot will look reversed, so every pan or track had to be shot opposite as you wanted it to be. Lightinwise, I tried to distance myself as much as I could to what I’d learned in Escac. It was a reaction as much as a learning experience. I am very proud I did this step forward. It really changed me.
